Welcome to the Newman Center!  “What’s a Newman Center?“ you ask.  It’s the home of the Catholic Campus Ministry at Youngstown State University.  We’ve got a beautiful building, located on the northern edge of campus, right across Madison Avenue from the two newest Residence Halls, Cafaro House and Lyden House.  In addition to Sunday Mass at 6:00 PM, from the start of the Fall semester through the end of the Spring semester, we plan all sorts of social activities, service projects, and opportunities to grow in one’s faith and relationship with the Lord Jesus.  We’ve got a peaceful little chapel (an ideal place for a moment of quiet prayer in the midst of the hectic pace of university life), great kitchen facilities, a small lending library with Catholic literature, a big room for parties and other activities, TV/VCR/DVD, pool table, and a basketball hoop out back.  So come check us out and introduce yourself the next time you’re on campus!

MASS:  6:00 PM SUNDAYS (from the start of the Fall semester through the end of the Spring semester.)
CONFESSIONS:  5:15-5:45 PM SUNDAYS (and by appointment)
